Let's Make #FlannelFriday More
Than Just Once A Week

One of my favorite things about fall is the ability to wear leggings with oversized sweaters and tall boots, but let’s be real. If I had it my way, #flannelfriday would be every day, not just Fridays. Since I moved to cute little Breckenridge in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, I’ve had a big adjustment to my closet and weekly wardrobe. The mountain lifestyle is much more laid-back, relaxed pace of life, and this sentiment most definitely translates to people’s closets, too. Just for a good giggle – when I was in Washington DC recently (travel guide in the works), I experienced a “culture shock,” not only because people were dressed to the nines, but there were just so many darn people in general!

As much as I loved exploring our Capitol, I yearned for home in the mountains, and to be able to wear my flannel without someone giving me a funny look! I’ve put together a miniature look book for how to style a flannel 3 ways. Make your flannel work for you – weather it’s a casual Saturday lounge, a night at the bar, or going shopping downtown, that flannel doesn’t need to be a “raggedy outfit!”

P.S. I’ve got a pro-tip for you. The best flannels aren’t fresh off-the-rack. They’re stolen from your boyfriend’s closet or even better, a gold-mine find from a local thrift shop or second-hand store! Without further adue, let’s talk about the 3 ways you can rock your flannel this fall!
